OCTOBER AT LEO HAYES

As the opening month of Leo Hayes High School has come to a close, many executive groups have been planning events for the month of October. September was successful in bringing enjoyment to all Lions, from all the new groups starting, to noon-time activities. The SRC got the school involved right off the bat with Mascot Tryouts. This event foreshadowed many successful noon-times in the future. October 29th has been scheduled for another huge day along with lunch time activity. Students will be allowed to dress up, as Halloween is creeping in. The same night, the dance committee is holding a Halloween Dance which you are allowed to dress up for, although school rules still apply. It is a great dance to start off the year with!
Safe Grad will also be holding another fundraiser October 31st. Graduates will be able to gather a team together and go leaf raking in designated areas across the North Side. Safe Grad has already raised $3000 and plan on getting much more in the near future. This month will be one of the best of your lives here at Leo Hayes, so get ready Lions!
